Sophomore JumpStart! is part of the Career Center’s series of programs targeted exclusively at sophomores to prepare them for future success. It offers students a jumpstart on planning for their future. At the conference-style event, students attend workshop sessions focusing on career exploration, networking, resume writing and obtaining career-related experience. Space is limited to sixty sophomores and is designed for sophomores who are just starting the process of career exploration.

The second annual Sophomore JumpStart, created by Hamilton’s Maurice Horowitch Career Center, took place on Sept. 8 at the Radisson Hotel in Utica. Step 1: Complete the Sophomore JumpStart Registration Survey. You will be taken to HamNET at the end of the survey.
Step 2: Register for the event in HamNET. Log into HamNET, click Events tab, click Workshops tab and RSVP for the event. You are not registered for the event until you have completed both steps.
There is room for 60 members of the Class of 2016. We will utilize a wait list if attendance is filled prior to the deadline.
