Who benefits from the Hamilton Alliance for Nonprofit Strategic Advancement program?
The Hamilton Alliance for Nonprofit Strategic Advancement (HANSA) program is a win-win situation for all involved. HANSA will improve town-gown relations in tangible ways, provide local nonprofit agencies with hands-on trained and mentored administrative/management support, and create a feeder program for nonprofit management degree programs, filling a documented need for leadership in the national nonprofit sector.
Fellows, in particular, will benefit from the program. Students will acquire nonprofit management skills and have strong on-the-job experiences. Moreover, students will receive assistance with their graduate school applications, including GRE, GMAT, etc. preparation, compilation of portfolios, application review, and preparation for interviews.
The fellowships are paid positions. Fellows will be compensated approximately $1,000 per semester of work completed.
