If you are seeking an exception to one of Hamilton's academic regulations (adding or dropping after the deadline, requesting permission to study abroad without the 82 GPA, etc.), you may download the General Petition Form This document requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. and submit it to the Dean of Students office for review by the Committee on Academic Standing.

If you want to take a Hamilton course independently, download the Independent Coverage Form This document requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. to indicate that you intend to cover the course materials on your own. The form should be submitted to the Dean of Students office for review by the the Committee on Academic Standing.

If you want to design and pursue your own course of study next term, complete the Independent Study FormThis document requires Adobe Acrobat Reader., and turn it in to the Dean of Students office for review by the Committee on Academic Standing.

If you want to declare, add or change a concentration, you should fill out the Declaration of ConcentrationThis document requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. form and submit it to the Office of the Registrar.

If you want to declare, change or withdraw from a minor, you should fill out the Declaration of Minor This document requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. form and submit it to the Office of the Registrar.

If you want to design an interdisciplinary concentration, fill out the Declaration of an Interdisciplinary Concentration This document requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. form prior to the end of the spring term of your sophomore year and submit it to the Dean of Students office. It will be reviewed by the Committee on Academic Standing.

If you want to declare a leave of absence (for study abroad or other reasons), fill out the Academic Leave of Absence form and submit it to the Dean of Students office prior to the stated deadline.

If you want to receive credit for an summer (or winter break)internship, the Application for 1/4 Credit Internship Form This document requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. should be filled out and returned to the Career Center. 

If you want to receive credit for a course or courses taken at another institution or on a non-Hamilton study abroad program, complete the Petition for Transferred Credit This document requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. and submit it to the Office of the Registrar.

If you would like to submit documentation for a learning disability, complete the Disability Registration Form and the Disability Certification Form and send to Dean Harrison in the Dean of Students Office.
