Help Desk Mission Statement

The Help Desk mission is to provide courteous technical support to the Hamilton College community via the phone or E-mail. Our objective is to resolve the problem on initial contact with the Help Desk. We support Hamilton College standard software and hardware and E-mail & network related problems on Windows and Apple platforms. We will take a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems to better assist Hamilton College in its use of computer technology.

Training Support Hours

Training is available during business hours through regularly scheduled classes. One-on-one appointments are also available. Please visit the Training Opportunities web page for more information.

 

How to get your computer serviced

Hamilton College contracts with VITEC Solutions for hardware repair service for all college-owned desktop computers and peripheral equipment. Hamilton employee should contact the ITS Help Desk first to dispatch VITEC. VITEC Solutions is also available to repair personal computers and equipment for a fee of $45.00/hr and is open from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday.
