Martin Luther King Jr. Community Service ProjectThe Office of Diversity and Accessibility, the Dean's Office, and the Chaplaincy collaborate on an Annual MLK Community Service Project. The purpose of the project is to rally support within the Hamilton community for a day of service at various locations throughout the Clinton, New Hartford, and Utica area. Some of those locations include Boys and Girls Club, Lutheran Homes, the Salvation Army, Thea Bowman House, Hope House, the Cosmopolitan Center, and the Children's Museum. The program also offers a tutorial and rap session for local area middle and high school students. The day concludes with a dinner and report from those who participated in the project. |
