The Office of Diversity and Accessibility, Student Activities, the Kirkland Project, and the Office of the President collaborate on a Skin Deep Retreat. Skin Deep is a program that gives students an opportunity to discuss the issues that separate them on college campuses. Through a series of leadership and diversity activities, students gain a better understanding of one another, establish closer bonds, and learn to collaborate to develop programs that bring about positive social change. Thirty student leaders are selected to participate in this program, which is conducted off campus by two outside facilitators.
