Tuition Benefits for Employees, Spouses/Partners and Retirees

We are happy to hear of your interest in taking courses at Hamilton. As an employee, spouse/partner or retiree, you are eligible to participate in the College's academic curriculum.

There are certain guidelines to participation that are applicable to all of these community associations. If you do not satisfy the criteria for the Hamilton Horizons Program, you will be considered a part-time student. Contact Carol Bennett, ext. 4688 for a determination.

This website is meant to help you decide about your own choice (or the choice of your spouse/partner) to participate in classes. Also provided is the paperwork that must be completed. New participants must complete the Application, Honor Code Pledge and Tuition Waiver Request. In addition, participants born after December 31, 1956 must also provide an Immunization Record Form.

The Hamilton Horizons Program is not limited to Hamilton employees, spouses/partners or retirees.  There are also a handful of non-traditional students from off the Hill participating in the program.

Mohawk Valley College Consortium

In addition to the academic benefits offered to employees, Hamilton is a member of the Mohawk Valley College Consortium, consisting of seven area colleges offering a Cross Registration program for full-time Hamilton students and full-time Hamilton employees. This program is not available to Hamilton dependents unless the dependent is a full-time, matriculated Hamilton student.
