The mission of the Office of Communications and Development is to enhance the College's image and reputation and maximize volunteer and financial support. Offices are located in the Anderson-Connell Alumni Center, which was originally an inn called Lee's Tavern and later the home of the Root family. In 2010, in order to tap into the enthusiasm and expertise of Hamilton’s alumni and parent networks for the benefit of our students, the Maurice Horowitch Career Center became part of Communications and Development.
Dick Tantillo, vice president for Communications and Development, directs all initiatives related to Hamilton's advancement operations: fundraising, alumni and parent relations, communications and career services. Currently leading Hamilton's Bicentennial Initiatives campaign, he manages the professional staff and volunteers focused on securing support for the College. Dick came to Hamilton in 1994.
