Our Hamilton Volunteer Community

-2 entire classes of Hamilton students (classes of 2012, 2013), or half of the student body, who have particpated in the Hamilton Serves! project

-5 one-day service events each year

-9 Alternative Spring Break trips with 107 participants in 2009

-24 weekly/monthly volunteer projects

-40+ employee volunteers for Martin Luther King, Jr. Service Day

-60+ student leaders

-410+ student volunteers registered through HAVOC

-900+ hours of work donated through the Urban Service Experience (USE) preorientation program in 2009

-3300 hours of work donated for one-day service events in academic year 2008/2009

-4280 hours of work donated by ASB participants in 2009


Local Impact

-7 schools receiving volunteers

-17 tutoring and mentoring programs supported

-30+ local agencies and projects served

-200+ low-income or at-risk individuals served by tutoring/mentoring programs

-500+ gifts donated to those in need by students and staff during the holiday season
