Anyone wishing to make an appointment should call the Counseling Center at x4340 or stop by the office. The Office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
The Counseling Center Office is located on the second floor of the Thomas Rudd Health Center. The entrance is located on the north (Commons Dining Hall) side of the building. Signs on the exterior door as well as at the foot of the stairs provide direction.
Students come to the Counseling Center with a variety of concerns. Some of these include: relationship problems, family problems, depression, eating disorders, alcohol and drug abuse issues, anxiety, loneliness, homesickness and stress.
All students who are enrolled at Hamilton College are eligible to use our services. There is no charge.
Information concerning visits to the Counseling Center will not be disclosed to anyone without the written permission of the student, except in case of a court order or of imminent danger to self or others. All records of visits are separated from other university files and securely maintained within the Center.
Appointments can be made by calling the Counseling Center at 315-859-4340 or by stopping by the Counseling Center office on the second floor of the Health Center. The Office Coordinator, can schedule an appointment for a student with any of the three professional therapists in the office.
