If you would like to search for someone in your home area or who is not on this list, the following steps can help guide your process:

  1. Visit www.psychologytoday.com
  2. In the “Find a Therapist” section, enter the name of your city or your zip code.
  3. On the left hand column, select “more” under the insurance tab if you would like to be matched with a provider who accepts your insurance. If you are a member of Hamilton College’s insurance plan, select “MVP”.
  4. If you would like to narrow down the search further, the next column “issues” provides multiple diagnosis/concerns that may apply to you. Some examples include: ADHD, anxiety, medication management and stress.
  5. A list of certified providers will then be provided for you to select from. Their contact information and address will be provided, along with a more in-depth description of their experience and their practice.
  6. Select a provider that you think would be a good fit for you and your needs!
