Support for multilingual students, often termed English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) or English for Academic Purposes (EAP), creates an inclusive environment that respects linguistic variation and encourages intercultural interaction. Multilingual student support is situated in the Writing and Oral Communication Centers and focuses on writing, speaking, listening, and reading.
