Family Weekend

October 22-25, 2015

Family Weekend is the highlight of the fall season for students, families and members of the College community. The weekend provides opportunities to attend classes, performances and educational Family Colleges.

Highlights include:

  • Poster sessions where students present their summer research and discuss their findings.
  • The Hamilton College Choir and College Hill Singers share the stage with the Department of Dance and Movement Studies with pieces for full choir and chamber singers and choreography for student dancers.
  • Musical performances by the Hamilton College Orchestra, conducted by Professor of Music Heather Buchman, and the Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of “Doc” Woods.
  • The Ruth and Elmer Wellin Museum of Art will be open for the exhibitions "Tales of the Conjure Woman Lady Fatima as Transmitted through Renée Stout" and "Karen Hampton The Journey North."
  • Brunch on the Village Green with the Clinton merchants.

Please come to the Kirner-Johnson building to register when you arrive. Pick up your Family Weekend memento, a printed schedule and complimentary tickets for Saturday's breakfast (Refreshments available)
