Tenable at any British university and covers two years of study in any discipline, at either undergraduate or graduate level, leading to the award of a British university degree. Selection is based on outstanding academic achievement (minimum gpa of A-), remarkable participation in cocurricular activities, and evidence of individual initiative and public leadership ability. "A British Marshall Scholar should possess keen intellect and a broad outlook." Application is made through the region where the candidate resides or attends college. Highly Competitive.
U.S. citizenship required, minimum GPA A- required.
Two years. A third year is granted on a limited basis for strong academic reasons.

Varies according to circumstances (university selected, place of residence, etc.) -- tuition, transportation, books, living expenses are all covered.
Candidates are interviewed by the faculty fellowship committee for nomination. Applications and evaluations are forwarded to the British Marshall Commission. Applicants granted interviews travel to the British Consulate, Boston
