A Posse student from Cambridge, Mass., Denise Ghartey '12 is an Africana studies major and philosophy minor. Through her project titled “Nowhere and Everywhere:  A Cross Cultural Exploration of How Multicultural Young People Explore Their Identities,” she will explore how multicultural youth ages 14- 20 navigate and perform their multicultural identities and negotiate a sense of belonging.  She will travel to Germany, England, South Africa, Brazil, Trinidad and Tobago.
