Facilities

Reid Hall

Students have full access to the Reid Hall gardens, library and reading rooms where the Hamilton program has its offices and holds classes. No English is permitted at Reid Hall for HCJYF students (including in the computer room and gardens).

Computers

The program has a limited number of computers for academic work, access to the Internet and e-mail. These are located in the Hamilton student lounge/reading rooms. Reid Hall is equipped with Wi-Fi. Students are thus encouraged to bring their own laptop.

Library Resources

Students registered in Parisian institutions have access to their respective libraries (Paris III, IEP, IC, Ecole du Louvre). The Paris public library system is open to all students as are the Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève and the Bibliothèque Nationale de France. The Hamilton Junior Year in France program also has its own modest library stacks, several magazine and newspaper subscriptions, as well as various print resources on France and Paris for student use. HCJYF students are required to obtain a card from at least one library.
