Information for Parents

eAccounts Launched January 31, 2013

The deposit tool parents use to deposit funds to student Hill Cards changed to eAccounts on January 31, 2013.

The log-in process is different

  • Parents still access the deposit page from the link on the Hill Card page. Once there, select  the "Make a Guest Deposit" link at the bottom of the page.
  • Guest depositors should then type in the e-mail address of the Hill Card holder (rather than selecting a student name from the drop-down menu).

The Hill Card is your student's identification card, meal plan card, residence hall access card, library card, and campus debit card.  Students may also choose to activate the Money Network® Enabled Discover Card® feature of the Hill Card.

DOOR ACCESS

The Hill Card is a proximity card that provides access to the exterior doors of residence halls without having to slide the card through a reader. This system makes exterior residence hall keys obsolete.

DEBIT CARD

The All-Campus Account is a prepaid, stored-value account that is part of the Hill Card. It is the convenient, cashless way to pay for purchases on campus and off campus (participating merchants).

Two prepaid options are available - All Campus Account (good at all locations where the Hill Card is accepted) or College Store Account (good for purchases at the College Bookstore only.)

Off campus, the Hill Card is accepted by the following merchants:

Alteri's
CVS
Clinton Cider Mill
Dunkin Donuts
Subway

See Hill Card terms and conditions for additional information.

MANAGE ACCOUNT ONLINE

Your student's Hill Card account can be accessed online.  This access enables them to deactivate their card when lost, reactivate the card when found, add money to their account and view their account history.

Discover® card

The Hill Card can also serve as a Money Network® enabled Discover® debit card if a student chooses this option and activates the Discover® card.

What are the advantages of the Hill Card Discover® debit card?
  • It is NOT a credit card.  It is a pre-paid debit card.
  • Students may use it anywhere Discover® cards are accepted.
  • Students can make free withdrawals at any Allpoint® ATM or participating ATM's on campus (Bristol Center and Beinecke Student Activities Village).
  • The Welcome Kit provided to students comes with checks than can be cashed free at any Walmart location (if students have activated the Discover® account and deposited funds to the account).
  • Funds can be deposited to a student's debit card account by the College Business Office (refunds, financial aid, payroll direct-deposit)
  • To learn more about card features and benefits, visit:  www.mycampusfunds.com/hamilton
Fees
  • Fees do apply for some functions of the Money Network® enabled Discover® card.  Detailed information available at Discover ®Card Fees.

LAUNDRY ACCESS

All residence hall washers and dryers accept the Hill Card only. Bristol Center offers coin-operated laundry equipment.

VENDING MACHINES

Most campus vending machines will accept the Hill Card.

COPY MACHINES

Public copiers (located in Burke Library and Kirner-Johnson) will accept the Hill Card.  To use the public copiers on campus a student must have funds in their Hill Card account.
