The 46 Peaks are the 46 tallest peaks in New York State and are all over 4,000 ft (or close to it). They are located in the High Peaks region of the Adirondack Park. The Hamilton Outing Club has a tradition of trying to collectively climb all of the 46 peaks in one weekend.
2010: 9-10 October. Over 100 participants climbed 27 peaks. A wet year.
2008: 14 trips went out, which included 89 people and 2 dogs. The trip with the most mileage conquered 35 miles! The trip with the most peaks bagged 10! 43 peaks climbed, our best ever. If only someone had driven up Whiteface we could have had 44!
2007: 17 trips went out with 74 participants and climbed a grand total of 28 peaks.
