Google Earth map of Kirkland Glen

We now have a Google Earth map of the Kirkland Glen. Thanks go to Lyman Munschauer '13 for walking the GIS device around the trails and manipulating the data.

If you want to look at the map in the Google Earth application, here's what you need to do:

1. Download this file to your computer.

Google Earth file

2. Open Google Earth

3. Click on 'File', then 'Open'

4. Locate the .xml file and it will be moved to the 'Temporary Places' section of your Google Maps directory, which I think of as 'part of "places" in that column bit on the left.'

5. If you want it to show up every time you open Google Maps, just drag it up to 'My Places'
