Our Honor Roll is Now Online Each September Hamilton has traditionally published a booklet listing the names of those who supported the College during the previous fiscal year. In an effort to prudently steward your contributions, we have chosen this year to honor our donors online. Last July we surveyed alumni who overwhelmingly endorsed the idea of "going electronic." Doing so not only reduces printing and mailing costs, but also demonstrates our commitment to environmental sustainability.
Beginning in November, the 2009-10 honor roll will be updated as gifts are received. Alumni can check the "real-time" status of their class' giving totals and names of classmates who have contributed. New stories illustrating the impact of donor support, as well as information about giving challenges and Annual Giving updates, will be added throughout the year. Even in the face of recent economic challenges, more than 10,000 donors supported the College with a gift to the Annual Fund in 2008-09.Once again you made a powerful statement about the unwavering commitment of the Hamilton family. Together we achieved a record $6,008,963 in unrestricted gifts! Thanks to your support, the College was able to provide additional financial aid to more than 50 students whose families demonstrated increased need as a result of the economic downturn. From financial aid to faculty support; from student research to extracurricular pursuits — your gift made an immediate and lasting difference on the lives of today's students. Alumni 1-4 years post-graduation qualify for membership with gifts of $1,000 or more, and alumni 5-9 years post-graduation qualify with gifts of $1,500 or more.
