Early American History

The History Department of Hamilton College is accepting applications for a one-year visiting position at the Assistant Professor or Instructor rank in early American history to begin July 1, 2012.  The successful applicant will be expected to teach the first half of an American survey course and an upper-level course on Colonial/Revolutionary America, in addition to three other courses depending on the visitor’s expertise. Ph.D. or ABD required.  Review of applications will begin May 15, 2012 and continue until the position is filled.
