The Africana Studies Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a one-year position, at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor to begin on July 1, 2013. Applications from all subfields of Africana Studies are welcome. We are looking for an interdisciplinary scholar who displays evidence of accomplished teaching and scholarly promise and is able to teach introductory and gateway courses. Applicants should have Ph.D in hand or be in the very last stages of completing the dissertation.
