Hamilton College is seeking a results-oriented professional who wants to be part of a highly effective team. The Office of Admission is characterized by an unusual degree of teamwork and camaraderie, a high level of energy and commitment, exceptional communication skills and creative problem-solving abilities. This is a full-time, staff position available March 15th, and reporting to the Admission Operations Manager.
The Admission Visit Coordinator is an integral member of the admission team and a key public relations representative for the College. Responsibilities include: coordinating reception for the Office of Admission by answering incoming calls, scheduling interview appointments, greeting and directing visitors, and ensuring that campus tours are available. Some data entry along with the maintenance of an online calendar and correspondence with prospective families is required, as well as other related responsibilities, as assigned.
Candidates should be strongly service-oriented, possessing excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and organization skills as well as the ability to be flexible and handle simultaneous demands in an often hectic environment. A willingness to work some evenings and weekends is also required.
A high school diploma and two to three years experience in an administrative and customer services oriented position required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
