Organic Chemistry

The Chemistry Department invites applications for a one-year visiting position in organic chemistry beginning July 1, 2012. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in sophomore level organic lecture and lab courses with potential involvement in a junior level integrated lab course and/or an upper level course in organic chemistry. Applicants must possess a Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry or a closely related field and be committed to undergraduate education, have an interest in teaching a diverse student population, and demonstrate excellence, or the potential for excellence, in teaching and research with undergraduates.  The successful candidate may also have the opportunity to direct student research projects.
