Scope and Responsibilities:
The Director is responsible for administrative direction and clinical supervision of a comprehensive range of health care services and programs for 1830 Hamilton College students. The director provides direct primary diagnosis and treatment of students; supervises a staff of four, including a Physician’s Assistant, RN, LPN, and Office Coordinator; and organizes and supervises medical coverage for Hamilton College summer programs. This is a 12 month full-time position.
Current license to practice as an MD or Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner in New York State; strong clinical skills; the ability to write and speak clearly and use discretion, tact and sensitivity in dealing with students and parents. Previous college health experience preferred.
