As summer begins, it is again a time for ITS to deliver new equipment to you, upgrade software, and clean, repair and upgrade equipment in spaces around campus. We will be upgrading Blackboard at the end of June. This year's upgrade will feature a major interface change which you should find easier to navigate and more flexible. College Events Calendar to be Upgraded - Maureen Scoones

Plans are underway to upgrade the system that runs the College's Events Calendar. Our tentative launch date is August 15, 2012. The web-based interface has improved functionality and an updated look and feel. Additional details will be announced throughout the summer.

Unlocking Your Abilities - Maureen Scoones

ITS subscribes to an online training library, Lynda.com, that contains over 1000 video tutorials you can access 24 hours a day, seven days a week. While technology titles are numerous, there are many non-technical titles too. In January, Lynda.com launched a five part Invaluable series: Unlocking Your Abilities, Developing Your Business Savvy, Making Yourself Irreplaceable, Building Professional Connections, and Becoming a Leading Authority.
