Ok, so does this officially mean I'm now a sophomore?

May 15, 2006       My freshman year of college is officially over. I had my last exam three days ago and came back Saturday. It’s really weird to be home. I’ve spent the past few days cleaning my room (it’s become an abandoned wreck), and now that it’s decently clean and all my boxes of college stuff are out of the living room and hallway, I have a freakish amount of free time. I’ve only been home two days, and I feel like a bum. My mom’s at work and my sister’s at school while I sit at home with my dog watching the Food Network. It seems like only yesterday I was ticking off the days till summer vacation like some prisoner in Sing Sing. And now that I’m home I kind of miss school. It’s crazy isn’t? I think I’ve been institutionalized. But don’t worry; I think I’ll live.
Of course, I won’t be lazy the entire summer. I’ll get a job…eventually. I actually have three interviews this week (one actually JUST called while I was writing the above paragraph. SCORE!). No internships or anything career oriented like that. Maybe next year I’ll think about getting job experience. But for now I’m content with decent teenage summer jobs. I don’t want to say too much about them, because I put this down as a job reference and once something’s on the internet EVERYONE will see (because I’m popular like that). I’m definitely working in the city. I miss it so much. Subways, pushy people always in a hurry, buildings taller than the science center, and PIZZA. Oh, it’s going to be a great summer. I’ve actually picked up The Da Vinci Code, which is a big leap for me considering I swore to myself I never would (no reason in particular, I just go fed up with EVERYONE telling me to read it). I want to see the movie, so I figured it’d be a good idea to read it first. It’s something to do, and I can only sit around doing nothing for so long.
Ummm. So yeah. I think that’s basically it. My freshman year has been great. And it’s gone by faster than expected. I can’t think of anything else to say. I guess I’ll leave you guys here. It’s been swell. Peace.
