November 7, 2010   I spent last weekend in this glorious city utterly overwhelmed, manic, and thrilled. I attended the NCPTW-IWCA conference, which stands for the National Conference on Peer Tutoring in Writing and the International Writing Centers Association, and must be the longest initialism ever invented! I went with three other tutors and Sharon, our director, and presented a talk on strategies for helping students deepen the analysis in their writing.  More ...
