Community Service Fellowships

Each year the Levitt Center awards Community Service Fellowships to Hamilton students that allow them to become involved in projects which directly impact the local community.  Judith Owens-Manley, the Associate Director for Community Research, supervises and trains these students.

The Arthur Levitt Public Affairs Center offers two  Summer Fellowships for Civic Engagement every year; one for Community Service and one for Community-Based Research.  Each Fellowship offers a $4000 stipend for 10 weeks of summer work.  All currently enrolled undergraduate students with an interest in the non-profit sector are encouraged to apply.  Both positions are based in Utica, and a personal vehicle and valid driver's license are required.
