Student Research Resources

Institutional Review Board: All research conducted on human participants or animals must be approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB), which supervises all such research carried out at Hamilton. Proposals must be submitted to the relevant board and approved before the research can be carried out. Please visit the IRB page to obtain a proposal form or to determine if your research may be exempt from approval.

Burke Library: The library provides a series of research aids organized by type of media, including books, ebooks, images, statistics and maps. The library home page also provides search options for books and articles in its catalogs, as well as journals to which the library is subscribed. Tools for citing sources are also provided.

Summer housing: Residential Life provides a summer housing guide for all student researchers remaining on campus over the summer. Please note that students who are not living on campus during the Spring 2014 semester will not be allowed to move in until May 29, and students who will not be living on campus in Fall 2014 will only be allowed to stay in summer housing until August 1.

Local restaurants: The Office of Admission provides a directory of restaurants in Clinton, New Hartford and the wider region.
