The Arthur Levitt Public Affairs Center

From its inception the Levitt Center has strived to connect Hamilton students with the non-Hamilton community. The Center has expanded the learning opportunities of our students in many ways. It sponsors faculty- student collaborative research, brings highly qualified speakers to campus, and matches students with the research needs of the surrounding community.

Mission and Goals:

The mission of the Arthur Levitt Public Affairs Center is to strengthen and support the study of public affairs at Hamilton. The goals of the Center are:

  • To encourage students to address public affairs in their classes and research
  • To create opportunities for students to become involved in public affairs
  • To encourage faculty, particularly in the social sciences, to address public affairs in their own research and in collaborative research with Hamilton students.
