Burke Library now subscribes to Zoological Record. This database is the most comprehensive index to the zoological and animal science literature. The deep backfile (1864-present) allows researchers to: determine the first appearance of an animal in published literature; follow research in fields such as biodiversity, ecology, conservation, and wildlife preservation; track changes in the classification and relationships of organisms, and check for new species descriptions.
