Horace H. Bogue was born 20 October 1874 in Avon, NY and died 16 March 1966 in Seattle, WA. He attended Hamilton College (A.B., 1897 and A.M. in course, 1900). Until 1918 he was with a deprtment Store in Alliance, NE, from 1918 until the Depression he was in the hardware business in Seattle. During the Depression Bogue owned and operated a ranch in eastern Washington. He returned to Seattle and operated a dairy equipment business until his retirement in 1949. After his retirement he traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, South America, Australia, and New Zealand
