The Chicago Manual of Style Online
The Chicago Manual of Style is known as the authoritative reference book for authors, editors, proofreaders, and publishers. Includes the 15th edition of the Manual, a Q & A section, and various tools for manuscript preparation, sample forms and letters, and a Chicago-Style Citation Quick Guide.

The Chronicle of Higher Education (campuswide site license)
  • Daily web updates on the latest news in higher education.
  • The complete contents of the latest issue of The Chronicle, added to the web site every Monday.
  • Searchable archives of back issues. Unlimited access to every news article and essay published by The Chronicle since 1989.
  • Unlimited, searchable access to every daily news story since May 1998.

RefShare, an add-on feature to RefWorks, is a collaborative research tool, that allows users to share their bibliographic references (i.e., the contents of specific folders or your entire RefWorks database) with anyone at Hamilton or anyone in the world.

To begin using RefShare,
  • Log in to your RefWorks account.
  • Under Folders, choose Share Folders.
  • Choose a folder or your entire database.

    Naxos Music Library 2.0

Coming September 9-12, 2008.

NAXOS 2.0 features include:
  • Microsoft Silverlight player combines various elements to create a unique, easy way to stream music. Available for Mac and Windows.
  • A home page has been created to present the most recent album additions, featured new additions, and Naxos news updates.
  • Links to major pages of the site have now been logically grouped as a main menu on the header section of each page.
  • The keyword search feature has now been made available to almost all the pages of NML 2.0.
  • The album page now contains additional information such as the short album description and the album information summary. The Recent Additions, Genre, Labels, and Composer List pages also have significant changes in the design.
  • Soon NAXOS will provide links to the "Work" information used by each track.

   EBSCOhost 2.0 released

Based on extensive user testing EBSCOhost has a clean, new look and feel, and many new features.

EBSCOhost databases include: Academic Search Premier, Biological Abstracts, INSPEC, MLA International Bibliography, PsycInfo, and many more.

ARTstor Beta available

ARTstor Beta is a new technical platform and user interface that will make searching, browsing, and organizing images in the Digital Library faster and easier.

We encourage you to try ARTstor Beta now. ARTstor Legacy will still be available throughout the upcoming 2008-09 academic year.

New features:

  • ARTstor now sits within your web browser rather than launching a Java client.
  • More graphical search and display interface
  • New navigation bar helps you to more easily find, organize, and share images
  • MyARTstor allows you to manage your profile, image groups, and citations

WDI Online now has 854 indicators available for 209 economies and 18 groups from 1960 to 2007, where data are available. This is an increase of over 100 indicators from 2007.
