    565,000 pages of rare manuscripts from the Medieval and Early Modern periods (c1150-1660) including letters, poems, stories, plays, chronicles, religious writings and commonplace books. These works of 1,000 authors were selected from the collections of the British Library, National Library of Scotland, Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Folger Shakespeare Library.

Global Plants (formerly JSTOR Plant Science)

  • A comprehensive plant science research tool. Contains 600,000 plant specimens, research articles, reference works and books, letters and manuscripts, paintings, photographs, drawings and other images. When complete there will be 2.2 million plant specimens. JSTOR Plant Science showcases the work of the Global Plants Initiative (GPI) with funding and guidance from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

The library has purchased "Domain Access" to the Chronicle. This means that everyone at Hamilton can now access all Chronicle.com content (free and premium) from anywhere. The only requirement is that you create a free Chronicle account using your Hamilton email address. As long as you are logged in to your Chronicle account you will never be denied access to premium content.

How it Works:

  1. Create a free Chronicle account using your @Hamilton.edu email address.
  2. iPad - download the iPad app and log in to your Chronicle account using your @Hamilton.edu email address. New issues will be delivered automatically to your iPad.
  3. Smart Phone, Computer, Tablet - Using your browser (Safari, Firefox, Chrome, etc.), go to Chronicle.com and log in to your Chronicle account using your @Hamilton.edu email address. Tip: To avoid future login prompts check the box that reads, Keep me logged in on this computer.
