Primary Source Collections

Publications generally containing reports on current events, editorials, features, photographs, and advertisements. Often give prominence to stories that have taken place in and around their place of publication. Usually published on a daily or weekly basis.

    Complete contents and original layout of more than 1,000 newspapers published in the United States from 1690 to 1922.

    Coverage: mid-1970s to present
    Largest and most complete full-text news collection. Articles for most newspapers date back to the early 1990s.
     
  • Northern New York Historical Newspapers
    Complete contents and original layout of nineteen newspapers published from the mid-19th to the mid-20th century.

Times of London

  • 1985-present - Full article text. No images.
  • 1785-1985 - Full text and image.
