Search for creative commons licensed content that can be used and modified for commercial use. Flickr Creative Commons Search*
A specialized search inside of Flickr that will allow you to search only for images that are using CC licensed.
*From the Flickr Advanced Search page:
1. Scroll down and select Only search within Creative Commons-licensed photos.
2. Also select Find content to modify, adapt, or build upon.
3. Search for images.
4. Click on the image to open it in a new page.
5. Click the small All Sizes icon above the image.
6. Use the Download link to download the Original image and the Medium sized image.
7. Use copy/paste or drag/drop to put the small image, the title of the image and the URL to the image in a Word document. You will use this information for citations later.

Images and music used in a presentation must be a) obtained legally and b) cited in full. For copyrighted works permission must be obtained from the copyright holder before posting on a public web site.
As a general rule these elements should be included in an image citation:
artist's name - if known
title of image - if known (if not use a description)
institution where held - if known
title of article or book - if applicable
author of article or book - if applicable
title and date of journal - if applicable
database name -if applicable
date of access - if online
date of publication - if originally from print material
URL - if applicable
PowerPoint and Podcast Credit Tips
1. Create opening and closing credit slides in PowerPoint™ and save as a JPEGs; import into GarageBand™.
2. On the opening credit slide of your presentation, include a notice:
"Certain materials are included under the fair use exemption of the U.S. Copyright Law and have been prepared according to the fair use guidelines and are restricted from further use."
3. On the closing credit slide list your sources. Examples for images, sound and music follow.
