He is the author of several short story collections and novels including Andorra (1997), The City of Your Final Destination (2002) and Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You (2007). Another distinguished writer, Peter Meinke '55, served as writer-in-residence at Hamilton during the week of Feb. 11 and gave a public reading Feb. 12.
