First-year student is national Division III champion in steeplechase
Track standout Peter Kosgei '10 ran to Hamilton's first Division III championship in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, setting a school record of 8:55.41 at the NCAA national meet in May. He also took league, New York State and New England Small College Athletic Conference titles on his way to winning the Liberty League's Outdoor Rookie of the Year Award. More ...
Goodfriend '82 honors parents with scholarship
Clinton High School graduate Tom Williams is the first recipient of the Frank and Mary Lou Owens Scholarship and will be a member of the Class of 2011. The scholarship fund was created by charter trustee and Clinton native Amy Owens Goodfriend '82 and named in honor of her parents. More ...
Robert Colley '66 edits award-winning journal Stone Canoe
The first edition of Stone Canoe: A Journal of Arts and Ideas from Upstate New York won a bronze medal in the anthology division of the 2007 Independent Publisher Book Awards. Stone Canoe is published by Robert Colley '66, and contributors to the award-winning issue include sculptor John von Bergen '63 and Monk Rowe, the Joe Williams Director of the Jazz Archive at Hamilton.
