Isha Ojha '09 Chosen as Finalist in Photographer's Forum 29th College Contest

Isha Ojha's award-winning photograph.

Isha Ojha '09 has been selected as a finalist in Photographer's Forum magazine's 29th Annual College Photography Contest. Her photograph will be printed in the hardcover book Best of College Photography 2009 which will be distributed by the end of June 2009.

The photo was taken in the summer of 2008 in New York City when Ojha was doing a summer photography residency at the School of Visual Arts (SVA). It was part of a portfolio she developed while at the residency. The theme of the portfolio was urban environments and this photo reflects the construction aspect of it. It was exhibited in SVA's Westside Gallery in July 2008.

Ojha is a senior art major concentrating in digital video. She received the Michael T. Genco Prize in Photography in 2008 at Class and Charter Day. She also participated in the School of Visual Arts Summer Photography Residency.
