Utica, NY - Urban Service Experience (USE)

Hamilton's Urban Service Experience (USE) Program gives students a chance to explore the city of Utica, NY, located 15 minutes from Hamilton, and contribute to the community by volunteering with local service agencies. Eight students participated in volunteer activities at the Utica Refugee Center; the Underground Café, a local teen center; the Mohawk Valley Latino Association; New Horizons, a women's shelter; Hope House, a free drop-in center that serves food and distributes basic toiletries; the JCTOD Outreach Center; and the Multicultural Association of Medical Interpreters.
