Itinerary
March 10-12 In Punta Arenas, Chile, ship-laboratory set-up, cargo unpacking, and logistical meetings. View map.March 12-15 Transit southbound across open-ocean Drake Passage from Punta Arenas to Admiralty Bay, South Shetland Islands.
March 15 Arrive Admiralty Bay, conduct science operations for up to 8 hrs.
March 15-16 Transit southbound from Admiralty Bay to Palmer Station for service call.
Contingency Plan-A (if ice conditions in Lallemand Fjord are favorable) Contingency Plan-B (if ice conditions in Lallemand Fjord are not favorable)
March 22 Depart Lallemand Fjord northbound to Brialmont Cove.
March 22-23 Arrive Brialmont Cove and conduct science operations.
March 23 Depart Brialmont Cove.
March 23-24 Conduct science operations in transit southbound to Andvord Bay,
March 24 Depart Andvord bay.
March 24-25 Transit to Palmer Station for a service call.
March 26 Depart Palmer Station, transiting via Neumeyer Strait.
