Hamilton's Mock Trial team placed fourth in the American Mock Trial Association National Tournament on March 16-18 in Waukegan, Ill. Team members who competed are: Wenxi Li '10, Alia Rehman '10, Larry Allen '09, Stuart Lombardi '09, Joshua Agins '07, Michael Blasie '07, Scott Iseman '07 and Stacy Sadove '07. They are coached by Jean-Marie Westlake.
The team competed against Spelman College, Bowling Green University, Penn State and the University of Cincinnati-Ohio. Hamilton's team achieved a record of 5-2-1, losing only to Penn State and placing fourth in the field of 32 other teams from across the country. The team qualified for this competition in February at the regional tournament held in Syracuse, N.Y. The trophy awarded to Hamilton is currently resting in its new home in the front window of the Dean of Students Office.
