Omori Invited Presenter for History Workshop at Dartmouth

Assistant Professor of Japanese Kyoko Omori was one of six invited presenters for the Modern Japan History Workshop at Dartmouth College on December 15, 2007. The workshop focused on the idea of Japan’s middle class, examined from the perspectives of historical, anthropological and literary studies. Omori’s paper discussed the work of Tokugawa Musei, a benshi, or silent film narrator. This tradition of oral art thrived during the early twentieth century. Utica OD Publishes O'Neal's Essay on France's New Relations with the U.S.

Jaime Yordan '71 Joins Citi Markets & Banking as Vice Chairman, Global Banking, for Latin America

Citi, the leading global financial services company, announced that Jaime E. Yordan '71 has joined Citi Markets & Banking as vice chairman, Global Banking, Latin America. Yordan is a charter trustee of Hamilton and was one of three alumni who spoke to Hamilton international finance economics classes in 2007. According to a press release from the company, "Yordan will join Citi's efforts to build on its successful global banking business in Latin America through senior coverage of key clients in the region, as well as capitalizing on significant opportunities in banking, fixed income, and equity markets."
