	Eleanor Fausold &amp;rsquo;13 penned a letter to the editor that was published in The New York Times in response to an op-ed titled &amp;ldquo;Is It Time to Bag the Plastic?&amp;rdquo; Referencing her senior thesis research on the costs and benefits of charging a fee for both paper and plastic bags in New York City, Fausold answered the article&amp;rsquo;s title question with, &amp;ldquo;The answer is overwhelmingly yes!&amp;rdquo; The letter appeared on the publication&amp;rsquo;s website on the day she graduated from Hamilton, May 26, and in print on the following day.

	WAMC/Northeast Public Radio in Albany will feature a reading by Professor of Government and Director of the Public Policy Program P. Gary Wyckoff on Thursday, Oct. 7, as part of the public radio station&amp;rsquo;s Academic Minute. The program normally airs each weekday at 7:37 a.m. and 3:56 p.m at 90.3 FM in the Clinton area but because WAMC is in its fall fund drive, the Academic Minute will not air at its usual times. Instead, it will be played as a floating module throughout the day.
