At Spring Volunteer Weekend, Saturday, April 4, 2009, the Committee for Kirkland College organized a special afternoon of events to recognize the 40th anniversary of women arriving on College Hill.

"40 Years of Educating Women on the Hill" was a panel discussion of women's education on the Hill from the 60s through the present;

To set the stage and promote the conversation about the Kirkland Generation, Liz Horwitt K73, surveyed Kirkland and Hamilton alumni, men and women. To read more about the survey, click here.

"The Kirkland Generation" was a lively discussion involving both Kirkland alumnae and Hamilton alumni talking about the relationship between the two colleges over the ten-year life span of Kirkland;

"The Kirkland Endowment and the Kirkland Legacy" was an open discussion of this significant piece of Kirkland still operating on the Hill today.
