Terence A. Burke '78 was named vice president of Allegheny Energy Service Corporation.  After graduating from Hamilton, Burke earned his juris doctor from the law School of The University of Chicago.

Burke joined Allegheny Energy in 1991 as deputy general counsel and oversees the legal aspects of corporate financial matters and securities laws. Before joining Allegheny Energy, he served as chief counsel, corporate finance and governance, for Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation and practiced law with Chicago firm Schiff Hardin & Waite.
