Hamilton College's champion Norway Spruce exceeded the 1994 big tree nomination listing to become national champion. The 120 foot (and still growing) tree is the tallest Norway Spruce in the U.S. It will receive official certifation from the American Forestry Association in Washington. Members of the local New York State Forest Practice Board will present the certificate to Hamilton College officials in a brief ceremony.
