The NCAA recently announced that Azure Davey '00 (Lowville, NY), NCAA associate director of membership services, will join the Division III governance team. In addition to her new role, she will also manage the Division III provisional and reclassifying membership program, active member education program, and conference contact program.

Davey has extensive athletic experience; she was formerly the assistant director of athletics for Compliance, Student Services, and Scheduling at SUNY Cortland. She has also coached both soccer and lacrosse for Division III teams. While a student at Hamilton, Davey was an active student athlete, playing soccer, squash and lacrosse.
In addition to being an athlete at Hamilton, Davey, a government major, was also a member of the Alpha Theta Chi sorority. In 2000, she won the Jack B. Riffle Award, which is presented to the college's most outstanding female and male athlete each year. After graduating from Hamilton, Davey went on to receive her master's degree in education at Elmira College.
