Hamilton College led 2-1 after the first inning but eventually dropped a 19-4 decision against St. Olaf College in a non-conference game played at Lake Myrtle Park in Auburndale, Fla., on March 26.

Hamilton (7-6 overall) closes out its Florida trip against Westminster College (Mo.) on Friday, March 27. St. Olaf (9-4) is an NCAA Division III school located in Minnesota.

Wes Mayberry '11 went 2-for-3 with a double and one RBI for the Continentals. Todd Haylon '12 drove in two runs and Sam Choate '12 singled and drove in another run.

The Continentals scored another run in the top of the second inning before St. Olaf exploded for five runs in the bottom of the second and again in the third for an 11-3 lead. The squads exchanged single runs in the fourth before the Oles closed out the scoring with a seven-run fifth inning.

Michael Caruso '12 started on the mound and picked up the loss for the Continentals. Stephen Wright '12, Donovan Flint '11 and Zak Cohen '09 pitched in relief.
